We hope you are all enjoying cherry blossom season, even if the Spring weather is still a little unpredictable. We have quite a busy rest of the term ahead of us, so please read on for our latest news:
Ceilidh Success
A huge thanks to Catriona Penny and her team for organising our BPS Ceilidh last weekend. It was a big success and everyone said they had a great time. We raised over £700 which will go towards our Parent Council fund to support our various school projects.
Art Auction Opening Night
You are all invited to the opening night of our fifth Bruntsfield Primary School Art Auction on the evening of Friday 12th May, 6pm – 8pm at school. This will be your chance to see all the artworks in person, before bidding on your favourites in the online auction. The evening will also include artist talks and live music.
PC Meeting 16 May
Our next Parent Council meeting will take place on Tuesday 16 May 2023, from 7pm to 8:30pm. The meeting will take place in-person at Bruntsfield Primary School and is open to all parents, carers and staff at Bruntsfield Primary School. Further details on our Parent Council website.
Summer Fair 10 June
We’ll be sharing more details about our Summer Fair shortly, but for now please Save the Date! It’s on Saturday 10 June, 1pm – 4pm. We’ll be needing lots of volunteers to help run the stalls, and donations of pre-loved uniforms, books and board games; plants; home baking; and tombola prizes. In Our Community
The ever popular Holy Corner Booksale at Morningside United Church is happening on Sat, 13th of May from 10am-5pm and Sun, 14th of May 1pm – 5pm, with a variety of children’s books available for all ages. Further details on their Booksale website.
Education Consultation
The Scottish Government consultation on the minimum annual number of learning hours closes on the 10th of June. For further info and how to submit your view visit the Scottish Government website.
