Dear Bruntsfield Families –
As we head towards the end of term, we have a few updates to share with you.
Parent Council Meeting, 29 March
Our next Parent Council Meeting will take place on Wednesday 29 March via Zoom (7.45pm for 8 pm start). The agenda and any supporting documents can be found on our website. The details to join the Zoom have been circulated via our newsletter. If you have not received them, please email [email protected].
There are still places to book on some of our after school clubs for the last term of the year. Book now before they are gone!
Our Bruntsfield Primary Family Ceilidh is making a return this year! It will take place on Saturday 29 April, 6pm-8pm at school. Tickets will be on sale on 24th and 31st March, or by arrangement.
Our next Bruntsfield Primary Art Auction will take place in May. You are invited to create or donate some fabulous artworks, which will be presented in an opening night exhibition on Friday 12 May, 6pm-8pm at school, followed by a week-long online auction. Anyone can enter – child, parent, carer, teacher, friend, neighbour! Deadline to drop off artworks is Friday 21 April.
Parent Council Vacancies
We are seeking a new Fundraising Officer to join our Events team. We have had one expression of interest, if anyone else wants to put their name forward, please email [email protected] as soon as possible to discuss, as we hope to appoint someone at our next PC meeting on 29 March (see above).
We also wanted to give you a heads up that our Events Treasurer will be stepping down after the Summer, so if anyone is interested in taking over this role next school year, this would be a good time to shadow our existing treasurer. Please email [email protected] for further details.
Our playground project is also looking for more volunteers to get involved. Please email [email protected] for further details if you are interested.
Edinburgh Community Climate Fund
And, finally, we are still waiting to hear the outcome, but we would like to thank the Parent Forum for supporting the Trash to Treasure project in the Edinburgh Community Climate Fund awards.
As always, if you have any questions or there is anything you would like to raise or get involved with, please get in touch.
