Dear Bruntsfield Families –

Well, we made it to the end of term!

Thank you for all you and your families keep doing to keep the school community safe and limit the transmission of Covid-19. The school will be in touch in the new year in case there are any updates relating to the continued pandemic and potential impacts on education.

As a Parent Council, it’s been great to be able to get our clubs back up and running – you’ll have just received an email about which additional extra curricular clubs will hopefully be starting in the new year. Thank you to the Parent Council volunteers who have been working so hard in the background to make this possible.

I hope those of you who took part in the Winter Trail enjoyed it as much as we did! We raised just under £600 for our fundraising pot, which we’ll be able to put towards funding activities and initiatives for the school community.

In the New Year, the Parent Council will be seeking your views on what else you’d like us to support for our children’s benefit, and how we can all as a parent and carer community contribute to making that happen.

We’ve said goodbye to a couple of the school team this term. This does however mean the School is recruiting! Take a look at the MyJobScotland site in case you or someone you know is interested in a clerical role with the school: My Job Scotland – Clerical Assistant role.

For now, happy holidays, however you may be spending the festive season. Wrap up warm, look after yourselves and each other, and enjoy time with family and loved ones.

With warm wishes,
Ros
