We would like to invite you to join us for a brainstorm and planning session on Thursday 28 October, via Zoom, for our events programme.
As we have still not managed to recruit any Events & Fundraising Co-ordinators, the meeting will address both our short term and our long term plans.
In the short term, we are putting together a small working group to organise an alternative event to replace our Winter Fair, which sadly has had to be cancelled for the second year running due to ongoing restrictions. If you feel you cannot make a long term commitment but would like to get involved with our events, then this would be a perfect opportunity for you. We will brainstorm some ideas at the meeting and get the ball rolling.
In the long term, as mentioned above we still have two vacancies on our Parent Council to fill. It is crucial that we find people to fill these roles, in our to take forward our events and fundraising planning for next year. We appreciate that anyone in P1 to P3 will not have experienced our annual events in full, so Thursday’s meeting will be a chance to find out more about what this would involve, and to ask any questions.
With a school of our size, it will take a team effort to get our events up and running again, so we hope to see a good show of hands at the meeting. The meeting will take place on Zoom, details have been circulated via our mailing list. There is no need to register in advance.
