We are very happy to invite our Bruntsfield Primary School families to a summer party in the school playground on Saturday 11 June. Feel free to join us anytime from 1pm to 4pm.

This will be an opportunity to find out more about our new playground project, and we will have some other fun activities too. Plans include outdoor games, a storytelling tent, a bake sale, and stalls including second hand uniforms, a plant swap and a few other surprises. There will be no entry fee to attend, but we will be taking donations towards the playground project and local charities assisting Ukrainian refugees in Edinburgh.

To make this happen, we will need a host of willing volunteers to help throughout the day, including a lead volunteer to take charge of co-ordinating all the volunteers. If you can help for an hour, or could take on the co-ordinator role, please let us know by emailing [email protected]

We’ll also need donations for the plant swap, uniform stall and the bake sale (both home baking or shop bought are fine) so again please let us know if you can contribute.

Lastly, for those who remember school life before the pandemic, please note this event will be different from previous summer fairs. We won’t have access to the school (except for the toilets) so everything will be outside. We’ve kept some old favourites, but scaled it back a lot and added some new things too. The focus will very much be coming together again after what has been a difficult few years.
