We’re delighted to let you know that our extra-curricular clubs are back! We’re starting off small, launching three clubs:
•Badminton (at school)
•Guitar (at school)
•Science with Young Engineers (Morningside United Church).
These clubs will start w/c 1st of Nov and enrolment is now open via our new booking and payment system, Class4Kids. Have a look at the Clubs section of the Parent Community website. Click on ‘join waiting list’ under Bookings, for more information on each club and how to get in touch with club organisers.
A few things worth noting:
- Club organisers will be in touch once you have enrolled your child (joined the waiting list), to confirm each booking after the half term holiday.
- For now, places will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis though certain exceptions will apply.
- As before, we can offer discounted fees for families who are eligible (see the Clubs site for more details).
- Class4Kids charge a small admin fee per booking.
Whilst clubs won’t start straight after school, the club team will liaise with Kidzcare to arrange transfers within the school building. If your child is not at Kidzcare, or the club location is not at school, it is each family’s responsibility to ensure your child arrives and is collected punctually.
Our aim is to add more clubs soon, a mixture of sports, creative and STEM.
To make this happen, we need your help!
The hard work on getting clubs up and running is done, and a little bit of your time would really go a long way to making Bruntsfield clubs sustainable and cheaper to run!
